TUYA Shuriken – Certified by Bohler M390 BLADE
The Shuriken
This would have to be one of the best value M390 knives on the market today.
Is it really Bohler M390 Steel?
Customers had doubts a tactical knife this low in cost was actually Bohler M390. So we contacted Bohler (Australia) and they recommended we have the knife tested by a NATA Certified testing laboratory that they use.
We had a blade tested using an Argon Gas Spectrometer. Guess what – testing concluded these do indeed have authentic Bohler M390 steel blades. The steel is supplied from the Bohler plate mill in Blech Austria as confirmed to us by the Technical Manager at Bohler Australia. We also confirmed the Rockwell hardness. (the Spectrometer testing results are posted below along with the email from Bohler Australia)
Our own testing on free hanging “Grunt” brand 1800 kilo rated rope, confirms this knife will cut it with one slice – typical of an M390 blade.
The fit and finish is very good. Flipping action is as good as knives twice it’s price. Plus it has textured carbon fiber inlays for a really good grip. Features a titanium back spacer and titanium pocket clip.
All blades are serial numbered and the knife comes with a nylon storage pouch.
Your choice of grey or blue (blue is very limited – only 35 were produced)
flipper action, ceramic bearings.
